CRISIS NURSERY CREATES AN "ISLAND OF SAFETY" DEDICATED TO THE PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT BY PROVIDING 24-HOUR EMERGENCY CARE FOR CHILDREN AND SUPPORT TO STRENGTHEN FAMILIES IN CRISIS. THEIR VISION IS TO BE A BEACON OF LIGHT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WHO ARE AT RISK OF ABUSE OR NEGLECT IN OUR COMMUNITIES, AND TO ENSURE NECESSARY SUPPORT AND SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO EVERY CHILD AND FAMILY IN NEED.

THE COALITION IS A GRASSROOTS NONPROFIT THAT ADVANCES EQUITY IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS BY ELEVATING COMMUNITY VOICES AND COLLABORATING WITH PARTNERS TO CREATE CHANGE IN THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY THROUGH THEIR PILLARS IN BUSINESS, COMMUNITY AND LEGISLATIVE POLICY. 

THEY ARE FOUNDED BY COMMUNITY MEMBERS FIGHTING TO MAKE SURE THE LEGALIZATION OF CANNABIS IN ILLINOIS IS DONE TO REPAIR AND REINVEST IN THE COMMUNITIES MOST IMPACTED BY THE WAR ON DRUGS AND TO ENSURE THAT CANNABIS INDUSTRY PRIORITIZES PEOPLE OVER PROFITS.

WIN RECOVERY WAS FOUNDED IN 2015 BY BETHANY LITTLE, A FORMERLY INCARCERATED PERSON IN RECOVERY WHO WAS EAGER TO SUPPORT OTHER WOMEN RETURNING FROM PRISON.


WIN RECOVERY'S LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE CONSISTS OF FORMERLY INCARCERATED WOMEN AND LGBTQ2 INDIVIDUALS. THE ORGANIZATION CULTIVATE STRONG DETERMINED LEADERS THAT HAVE MADE GREAT STRIDES TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES AND THE LIVES OF OTHERS.

CYCLING WITHOUT AGE OFFERS BIKE RIDES FOR THE ELDERLY. AT MARCH 2020 MORE THAN 2,200 CHAPTER LOCATIONS AROUND THE WORLD OFFER CYCLING WITHOUT AGE FROM WELL OVER 3,000 TRISHAWS - AND THE NUMBERS ARE STILL GROWING. MORE THAN 33,000 PILOTS ENSURE THAT THE ELDERY GET OUT OF THEIR NURSING HOMES, OUT ON THE BIKES TO ENJOY THE FRESH AIR AND THE COMMUNITY AROUND THEM. THEY GIVE THEM THE RIGHT TO WIND IN THEIR HAIR.

IDEA IS THE LARGEST ORGANIZATION IN THE STATE DEVOTED TO THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION AND IS AN ORGANIZATIONAL AFFILIATE OF THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION (ISTE). THE WAYNE MCCLAIN PIPELINE FOUNDATION PROVIDES LEADERSHIP TRAINING, MENTORING, TUTORIAL SERVICES, AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE CENTRAL ILLINOIS REGION. THE PROGRAM SERVES AS AN INTERFACE BETWEEN ACADEMICS AND FITNESS FOR LOW INCOME, LOW ACHIEVING YOUTH, 6-19 YEARS OF AGE WHO WERE ENROLLED IN A TITLE I SCHOOL. THE 217 309 INITIATIVE WAS DESIGNATED FOR TUTORIAL ASSISTANCE IN ALL EDUCATIONAL AREAS, WITH PARTICULAR FOCUS ON READING, WRITING, AND MATH SKILLS, WITH A SECONDARY PORTION BEING PROGRAMMED TO ENCOMPASS THE PRINCIPLES OF PHYSICAL FITNESS, INCLUDING ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED EXERCISES.
